But is this beauty same for all men? Does every man finds the same woman attractive? This is a fact that every man is attracted toward women but difference is in their perception of beauty. For some, a woman is attractive and for others, she is no better than others. Some desire for beautiful eyes and some seek curves. Moreover, woman who did not seem beautiful at all, is now your dreamgirl. Why?
People usually find attraction as a consequence of popularity. Someone who is popular for some reason attracts the crowd. Once people starts noticing him/her they start knowing more about that person (since we are talking about women, henceforth I will use "her"). Since this is a fact that more you think about a woman, more you will feel attached to her. Now what I want to tell is that beauty is relative! Relative in the sense that if there is a girl who is popular and attractive, we will feel attracted towards her and we will not notice an unpopular yet good looking girl. Once that super sexy, hot girl is no more in sight and we are left with only those unpopular girls then we will start to notice that good looking girl. More we start noticing her, more we feel attracted towards her and now she is the hottest girl!

Many times it happen with boys that the girl who was not so appealing in her school time, is everyone's favourite in college. Most of you might have felt this. Then You think, if I paid attention to her then she could be mine. In college also we dont give much attention to all girls because there is a group of hottest girls that draws all the attention. But when those girls move in at prom night with their boyfriends then we persuade ouselves that there are more beautiful girls left for us somewhere. Now we start paying attention to less attractive (till yet) but single girls. Now they become more attractive than before and gradually becomes dreamgirl.
So it happens at every age, whether it is school time or college time. Moreover, have you noticed that in the group of hottest girls, one who is leading the group or one who is more active, attracts more crowd than others. When she is near then we don't observe other girls of the same group, but when she is not there then our attention moves toward the next hottest girl.
I call it "Theory of Relative Beauty"!
People were attracted toward animation because it was a new concept. It attracted myriad of people from every age group. It was new, exotic, and also beyond human understanding, so in every aspect it had power to attract people. They had never seen moving images. It was fantastic experience for the viewers. It was like their dreams came true. Something they can see only in their own dreams now can be seen with family and can be shared without any modification caused by words. But early 20's was a time of scientific revolution. people started thinking logically and more they get familiar with animation, more they started getting tired of gags without a story line.
The decline in popularity of this new concept alarmed those who were involved in it. Felix the cat by Otto Mesmer was a big hit and so was Gertie the dinosaur by McCay.These two were a hit because they were a "character" unlike just a moving image in earlier films.
